The Mahone Bay Scarecrow Festival & Antique Fair is a great way to put your end of summer blues away and embrace autumn and all that this deliciously bountiful and colourful season offers. This annual autumn event draws thousands of visitors each year coming to see this sweet Nova Scotian south shore town adorned with delightful and extraordinary creations.

Fall Festival

Leaf peep along your journey to take in the spectacular fall foliage in glorious shades of glorious reds, oranges and yellows, then feast your eyes on the display that greets you when you arrive in Mahone Bay. The whole town is decked out and dressed to the nines designed to amuse and entertain you. This autumn weekend celebration showcases a display of 250+ uniquely creative scarecrows, a world of colour quilt show & sale, a local crafters market, a giant book sale, church tours, live music, BBQs, family fun activities including a dusk to 9 p.m. pumpkin path Saturday night, and of course the largest antique fair in the Maritimes featuring the most respected dealers.
