The New Brunswick Sunflower Festival is a feast for your eyes. Be awestruck as you catch a wagon ride to the top of the massive field to see 250,000 beautiful suns facing you at once. It is an annual event now in Salisbury that you can look forward to year after year.
Making Waves: Art on the Island is an annual event sponsored by Sunbury Shores Art and Nature Centre. This Fine Art Auction is a community arts and nature fundraiser held at Covenhoven House on Ministers Island. It is a extraordinary evening held in a remarkable place, featuring works by 50 contemporary artists, and it all begins by crossing to an island on the exposed ocean floor when the tide is low.
Kingsbrae Garden is a 27-acre fine horticultural garden highlighting traditional formal gardening as well as modern styles. Each themed garden beautifully showcases unique features and characteristics. The sculpture garden is impressively filled with winners of a Canada-wide sculpture competition and The Garden Café offers a lovely patio view or a pretty indoor dining room for lunch, afternoon tea, drinks or dinner.
The New Brunswick Botanical Garden has twelve themed gardens with more than 80,000 plants making it the largest arboretum east of Montreal. Wolastoq Wharf is consistently awarded ‘Where to Eat in Canada’ year after year based on customer reviews. This upscale seafood restaurant, located in Fredericton North, is my favourite seafood restaurant in town. You can count on excellent service, a relaxed atmosphere, and perfectly flavourful meals - every single time. And can we talk about desserts?! Whether for a casual lunch, a weekend brunch, or an exquisite evening of fine dining, Wolastoq Wharf is my go to for a great meal in Fredericton.

It offers one stop shopping for gorgeous clothing, accessories, home decor and gifts all under one big beautiful roof. It is one of my favourite places to shop in town. Vintage in the Village is a wine tasting walk through one of the sweetest villages in New Brunswick. This annual fundraiser sells out almost immediately and for good reason. Browse the antique & artisan shops and follow the map to historical sites & heritage homes, where you are met with wine samples, and tasty appetizers. It is all for fun, and fun for all.
Pumpkins, pumpkins and more pumpkins await you at La Grande Grouille. There are thousands of them in every size, shape and colour. There are also fairies & gnomes, witches & wizards, cats & bats, birds & insects, and animals & mystical creatures. Each year has its own special theme and exciting new spectacular surprises. What remains the same is that La Grande Grouille is an fabulous fall festival and an important annual ritual, as together fantastical creatures rise to remind us to take good care of the earth. The Atlantic Balloon Fiesta, also known as Atlantic Canada’s Most Colourful Festival, is an annual event that is proudly held in Sussex, New Brunswick. It has grown over the past few decades into a huge 3-day weekend event jam-packed with wonderful activities, music, food and fun for everyone. The highlight is watching 30+ beautiful hot air balloons in many different colours, shapes and sizes inflate, launch, and float across the serene September blue sky. You can also fly in one too! I highly recommend it!
