Cottage Chic Loft
We came, we shopped, we wined and dined, and we loved every minute of it! This is my second stay at Cottage Chic Loft. The Indulge Food & Wine Festival brought me here for a fun-filled girls weekend last fall. Then this spring I returned on a much quieter mission, for some R & R and a little shopping therapy with one bestie. There is no doubt there will be a third and fourth and fifth visit, as I just can't get enough of this place! All my friends feel the same way.
Modern Coastal
This 1860's building has been renovated with the utmost TLC. The owner, Janis Downey designed a lovely retail space and two modern coastal apartment rentals maximizing open living spaces while still maintaining the historical character and charm of the architecture. The loft encompasses the entire top two floors above the store. The inviting kitchen-living-dining area was perfect to hang out and unwind. The open-concept made prepping snacks and getting that extra glass of wine (who us?) a breeze. It was also conducive to savouring another morning coffee and grabbing a bite without missing any breaks in conversation. We felt at home curled up enjoying a cuppa (or a glass-a) while sharing our latest shopping finds and adventures. We loved staying here.
Seaside Beach Cottage Feel
Cottage Chic Loft has a fresh, seaside beach cottage feel. State of the art appliances - including a whisper-quiet dishwasher, a quiet ice-making fridge, and a gourmet’s delight stove & oven have you wanting for nothing. Beds were comfortable and from personal experience I can say the master king-sized bed was downright sumptuous!
Cottage Chic Annex
A second rental, the Cottage Chic Annex apartment has its own separate entrance and sits directly behind the retail space on the first floor. If a romantic getaway is what you are craving, this cozy one-bedroom unit is what you are looking for. This apartment, like the one upstairs, has an open concept, and plenty of charm & ambiance. Did I mention it has breathtaking views of Passamaquoddy Bay? Well, it does!! Consider bringing your partner to St. Andrews By-The-Sea to celebrate a special occasion or perhaps to shop, wine & dine, or just to recharge and reconnect. Whatever the reason, make sure you enjoy some together time to raise a glass and soak up golden sunsets on your own private deck. It’s one of the best views in town.

Not to be missed is the sweet Cottage Chic Store.Find cottage lifestyle, coastal furniture, beach & nautical home decor, and beautiful giftware featuring local, Atlantic Canada and Canadian made items and artwork.
