Christmas in the Village in Gagetown New Brunswick
UPDATED NOVEMBER 3, 2025
Christmas in the Village
Christmas in the Village is an annual two-day festive celebration held each November in the riverside Village of Gagetown, New Brunswick, just 45 minutes from Fredericton. Now in its 28th year, this beloved tradition fills the streets with handcrafted treasures, holiday flavours, and small-town Christmas cheer.
Browse gifts from local artisans and craftspeople, explore cozy pop-up venues throughout the village, and enjoy seasonal treats and warm drinks along the way. A local potter opens her studio, carollers rejoice, and horse-drawn wagon rides add a touch of magic. Festive displays and a visit from Santa make it a holiday weekend for all ages.

The Twelve Hours of Christmas
To capture the spirit of the weekend, Iโve written my own version of The Twelve Days of Christmas, sharing the experience through a playful twist on a familiar carol. While you wonโt need twelve full hours to see everything, plan to make a day of it โ with so many artisans, treats, and festive surprises, time has a way of flying by.
